3 Dead In Crash With Snowplow In Maryland

Three people died in a crash involving a snowplow Monday night in Montgomery County, WUSA9 reports.

The crash occurred on the northbound side of Route 29 Columbia Pike near Briggs Chaney Road around 6:45 p.m., the outlet said citing Pete Piringe, the chief spokesperson for Montgomery County (MD) Fire & Rescue.

An SUV struck the back of the plow, entrapping the victims. Two women and a man died while a fourth victim was hospitalized.
